Iowa pollster breaks down new poll showing Harris leading

The Des Moines Register’s new poll shows Vice President #Harris with a narrow three-point lead over Donald #Trump in #Iowa. Pollster J. Ann Selzer joined The Weekend to unpack the poll's findings.

The key takeaway from this poll, for me, was the cross stabs. 51% of harris voters said that democracy was their driving issue. And harris leads in the poll. So what that tells me is that more than half of the people in IOWA care most about democracy. To me, when the state of Iowa, which is hardcore conservative, cares most about democracy....that's game over for Trump. Because if that's how Iowa feels....people in GA and PA and WI and MI and NC are going to be way higher and even more friendly to democrats.

I also heard from someone tonight that someone they know works at FOX, and they were saying that what they're seeing in the data is that 65+ population in the rust belt states is going democratic by a large margin.

We already know women are overwhelmingly going for Harris. To me, i think harris wins big. I think she wins all the swing states other than MAYBE NV.
