I used plastic cardboard stuff like you, stuck hello fresh plastic bottle insulation packing material to it then coved it with interior flock carpet, they look okay and also have some insulating value 😉 zafiras make fantastic car campers I totally agree 👍

We used to have a Zafira..we slept in it for one night. No set up. We just lowered the back rests and covered ourselves with a blanket. Then we thought that I would be cool to make it in to a car camper. Unfortunately, the Zafira needed some repairs and it was a bit knackered, so we got a Berlingo. 😊

Power makes so much difference to car camping and makes it a year round activity. Hope your knee is on the mend mate. Just relaxing in a bar on a campsite by the Med. 750 miles done and this is my second night under canvas before I pick up Mrs W in the morning. I was going to car camp but the car has way too much stuff in it to fit my bed in it too. I have managed to use all the Temu kit to it's full potential. If campsites were like the ones here in France I would car camp less. Nine euros last night and twenty tonight, on the beach with bar and pool. I am looking forward to a car glamping long weekend in Wales at the end of the month. I sleep so much better in the car than a tent
I moan about all this car camping on sites but I think that I am a big hypocrite as I think in the last year have stayed twice as many nights on campsites as stealth. Waffling now as the alcohol has kicked in😊

the zaffy is great im gladd the all rear seats of mine go flush, sadly the power unit is my issue ha! so 2 20, 000mah power banks for the phone ha! but the 3 peicve ffoam can be a pain and my porta potty that i just got the higear one where u put "cat litter" or something to help msk the smell haha buit its tricky to use in the confied space! although i need to redo the windows of the silver bubble stuff :) ha maybe i should do my ccara camp tour haha u started a trend :P haha

lookin good matt ive changed my camper unit twice so far but just bought a cot for my woodland setup poss fishing bivvy #need comfort haha so going to test the cot in the car just similar to your setup

Lucky for you that you corrected yourself, or it would have been more than your autofocus playing up on your phone 🙊🤭...potties have special powers you know 😉🤫
I'll do a video of my improvs to my car soon Matt...really simple stuff, but helpful just like your alterations.
I've seen some amazing mpv conversions, but they lack flexibility, and in the end they're not any more comfortable or practical than your set-up.
Zafiras forever...(although they aren't making them anymore 😮. FOOLS 🤨)
