At the end of the first cutscene with her, she shouts 'Its time to shine!' The same way billy is always shouting it when you select him. On top of that, Billy's secret love for Monica, and Caesar's love for romance novels, Caesar's desire for the Sons of Calydon to be heroes to the people, and Billy's desire to be a starlight knight, there are ALOT of similarities between the two characters. I'm really looking forward to any potential character stories exploring Billy's and Caesars past together

My head canon is Billy tried to defend Caesar and her father but only managed to save her from a rival gang or ethereal attack.

But because she lost her father and hand he replaced it with his own and exiled himself for failing to save her father. Bear in mind Billy and Lighter are champions of the Sons of Calydon, sworn guardsman of the gang leader.

Maybe he wanted a fresh start for failing to protect Caesar and her family, at least in his eyes. That’s why he doesn’t like talking about his past.

Also poetic Caesar’s left hand is Billy’s while Lighter weaponized his right. She still has her Champions at her sides, her right and left hand men.
