e-Yantra Virtual Museum - History in 3D

On the auspicious day, we celebrating 74th glorious years of India being a Republic, e-Yantra School Initiative is proud to present the Virtual Museum website curated - "by students, for students".

Students from 7-11th grade have done ground-breaking work in the History space by building a "Virtual Museum exhibit" in the "Metaverse." In our 7-week online competition they learnt history using technology. They trained in graphical, analytical and research techniques to tell stories about an artefact of their choice. The challenge was that the story should be a "wow" story mapping to their curriculum and that suggested what else was happening in the world at that time. This is presented by them in a Virtual Museum exhibit for public display.
The website proudly displays the artefacts of our Top 15 Finalists who competed in the Edition 1 of the Virtual Museum Competition.
