I don't push my skill level too hard on the downhills. Downhills are definitely my weakest on the bikes and I'm more than okay with that. Funny how much I appreciate the climactic aspect from the beginning till now.

Had a discussion with a mate a few days ago about the need of wearing gloves... he does think it’s not necessary to wear them during training rides because during training you don’t crash... maybe he just didn’t hit the tarmac often enough.
