Undertale released about a month after I lost my mother back in 2015. I didn't play it upon release, but when I did play it for the first time, it really helped me through my grief, I think, and it was there with me for the rest of high school.
It really did not deserve all the hate it got at the time just because the fandom was awful. It's a deeply emotional and amazing game, and it means a lot to so many people. I'm glad it's seen somewhat of a renaissance lately, after everyone's calmed down.

Can we all agree that undertale is not just some ordinary game? This game does not have things like call of duty or smth. But, the story, music, characters, the cold jokes... They all make undertale a great game.


Edit: Hoy Molly i didn't expect this much comments/likes. It really makes me happy to see people still remembering the game and all of it's legendary sides. Like the mouse and cheese. As an undertale fan since 2015, this brings tears to my eyes. It remindes me when I was just in 6th grade and played the game on steam for the first time. I wish I can have a time machine and go back to play it again blind, then I fell in love with the lore and the fandoms fanarts, animations, songs ecc... Im 18 now and I'm going to graduate next year. Cant believe time passed so fast

this song makes me feel sad, lonely, it makes me feel like i’m sitting on an empty hill watching the sunrise and every person that exists starts slowly fading away and that the world is ending. this song gives me sad vibes unlike most people, the other people get weirdcore vibes from this song.
