I'm so glad you did this! 😂it is sooo crazy sewing tulle, you can't see it, especially under the machine and your eyes start playing tricks on you!! Keeping tulle strait while sewing takes 5 of those 6 hours😂😂😂 you can't mark it or draw on it!!! I've tried many different ways to mark it, but nothing has been a hack yet!!!😢 thanks for always sharing ❤❤

I feel you. Made ballet outfits for 21 girls at a ballet school. We had 2 weeks. They had a gala coming up. Sewing all the layers is time consuming. You have to ruffle each piece l, and then see the different sizes together to create the tutu effect.

Can you use this kind of gathering tool for any sewing machine? I usually do it by hand which take an insane amount of time and I’ve been looking for a better way to do it. I honestly didn’t know you could. I have a singer quantum stylist 9960

Serious question from a novice sewer: Why not make the tulle a separate underskirt from the bodice and overskirt/top layer gown? That way you could potentially use it under more than one dress.

Actually it’s easier to steam if u do it from underneath and pull towards the bottom of the skirt
