Tropical update: Post Tropical Cyclone Ian weakens, new area of interest develops

This is our last update on Ian. A new area of interest has developed off the west coast of Africa, but does not show any signs of impacting the United States.

Blogs of people who were present in western Florida, wrote that some of the Bays and Rivers emptied ; as Hurricane Ian approached! Then this water came ashore as a huge Storm Surge/Tidal Wave. (This also was reported in the Galveston, Texas Hurricane of 1900 ; where Alarm Runners were going house to house, yelling to get off the Island as a Total Wave was approaching! The Tide being so far out, it could not be seen from their tallest LightHouses! The skies were clear and the sun was still shining in Galveston, Texas at that time before the Hurricane came ashore in 1900!)
