Benjamin Pavard (27) is moving from FC Bayern to Inter Milan. The French defender, who arrived from VfB Stuttgart in the summer of 2019 won a host of silverware with the Munich club including the Bundesliga title and the Champions League four times each, the Club World Cup, the UEFA Super Cup, the DFB Cup, and the DFL Supercup twice.

I can't even believe that Pavard left Bayern. To be honest, I'm upset 😢. For 4 years in the club Benjamin has shown himself to be a solid defender, a hardworking player who is ready to give 100% of himself. Therefore his motives for leaving are not clear. Several versions are rummaging through my head: 1) due to the fact that he does not play as a central defender, as he wishes. He just doesn't see himself as a right defender; 2) after the arrival of a new coach Pavard simply got lost. I remember how even last season, under Nagelsmann, Benjamin looked deadly powerful with his impeccable game - in every match either a goal or an assist. I even thought that he would be one of the key players in Bayern for a long time, become one of the leaders, a future legend. But then under Tuchel he simply evaporated on the field - he was neither seen nor heard; 3) Pavard could have a conflict with someone inside the club. But we will not know the truth without any statements.
His choice of club is also completely incomprehensible. The fact that Inter Milan reached the final of the Champions League is pure coincidence. And changing Bayern to a team that is an order of magnitude lower in class is not logical.
In any case, thanks for the game, Benjamin, for the strength that he gave in every match, for the contribution made to the victory of the team. Good performances in the new club!
