I was there. I will never forget it. My father was a huge fan. I am 50 years old now myself. My father learned me everything about real music. Mostly black people's music. Jazz, funk, soul, Motown and rock and roll. I am still a huge fan. Tina ❤️ My father died years ago because of Huntington's disease. Now it's my turn to deal with the "Devil's disease". Moments like this makes it sometimes a bit less horrible to carry. Thanks Dad and thanks Miss Turner. I don't need another hero.

Was it just me or was segments 3 & 4 of the HBO Tina documentary hit diff??? After hearing Tina say/ask:

1. “I didn’t have real & genuine love that sustained itself until I was in my 50’s”

2. “I would look at myself in the mirror and ask, “Why can’t anyone see the beauty inside of me?”

3. “How do you bow out slowly and just go away?”

This song just brings me to tears. It amazes me still today, how the most beautiful and gifted people can be mistreated and in need of love. I can so resonate with Tina, for there are times I've been in her situation. I'm so glad she's shared her life story with us all.
