I was there. I will never forget it. My father was a huge fan. I am 50 years old now myself. My father learned me everything about real music. Mostly black people's music. Jazz, funk, soul, Motown and rock and roll. I am still a huge fan. Tina ❤️ My father died years ago because of Huntington's disease. Now it's my turn to deal with the "Devil's disease". Moments like this makes it sometimes a bit less horrible to carry. Thanks Dad and thanks Miss Turner. I don't need another hero.

What an amazing performance. This is by far the best version of this song.

I was there. I took my mom for her birthday. We were both crying. I'm still impressed with the power of that woman. I've endured a lot of the same things. And I still have troubles to get my feet back on the ground. It feels like I've lost 50% of myself. She is a force of nature! You are a true inspiration Anna Mae.... 💕

It blows my mind that this video only has 5K views. This has to be one of the best covers of all time! ♥️you Tina, you deserve every bit of happiness life has to offer!

Was it just me or was segments 3 & 4 of the HBO Tina documentary hit diff??? After hearing Tina say/ask:

1. “I didn’t have real & genuine love that sustained itself until I was in my 50’s”

2. “I would look at myself in the mirror and ask, “Why can’t anyone see the beauty inside of me?”

3. “How do you bow out slowly and just go away?”

Then the playing of this song! 😢

I’m just so very glad that Tina found someone to love her the way that she deserves!!! She made no excuses & asked for no pity! She bet on herself and won! And to answer that last question - Ms. Turner, ur beauty, ur resilience, and life has been an inspiration to us all! You will never go away from our hearts!

Never heard this version until the documentary. This is beautiful. She sings from the inner depths of her soul. Just amazing.

The Beatles wrote this song and sang it as a semi rock ballad, which was great. To me, she sang it in a way that truly shows the real meaning of the words of this beautiful song. This amazing soulful performance really makes you feel the pain, nostalgia and cry for help of an aging person reaching the end of the road. Gives me goosebumps and brings tears to my eyes every single time I hear it.

She turned a popular pop song into a bluesy gut wrenching ballad.

This song just brings me to tears. It amazes me still today, how the most beautiful and gifted people can be mistreated and in need of love. I can so resonate with Tina, for there are times I've been in her situation. I'm so glad she's shared her life story with us all. I pray that now she has found that love she's so searched for all her life. I can't thing of a more deserving one to have it. God bless you, Tina!🙏❤
