The trailer, in addition to exploring the Hammer's physical and mental abuse, that trailer is really manipulative. They're exploring the crimes that his family may have committed in the past while discussing the allegations against hammer himself? That's just going to make all the people watching think guilt by association or other things like that massive manipulative technique that the documentary seems to be doing. The documentary you should focus on Hammer and the allegations against Hammer.

As freaky as the trailer for this doc was, we have to be careful. I’ve seen some of these “abuser” documentaries recently and they have been absolute trash, like the Hefner one or the woody Allen one.

There was a really good article going into the hammer family history, it's really good, it goes back to sovjet and being directly involved with stalin, and every generation has its own crazy stories. Armies story actually isn't that crazy compared to his ancestors.

The dark side? All we see are some standard kinky messages without context. Context matters. It pisses me off because I've sent kinky messages to my exes in the past and some could look bad without context when things were reciprocated.

Armie Hammer cast in Fifty Shades of Grey was a missed opportunity.

This could go one of two ways. The only thing I ever heard about Armie Hammer was the suspected nepotism and how he got into Hollywood. Rich familys are almost always evil, so that's no surprise. In Armies case, he might have just been into unconventional kinks and it truly freaked these women out. Because if you aren't into that stuff, then it should never be forced on you. On the other hand, if he FORCED them or ACTUALLY assaulted them then yeah that definitely makes him a bad guy. Either way the dude needs some serious therapy to deal with his violent urges. I suspect he was abused as a child by his messed up family. Its usually the same story with all serial killers or men who are into sexual violence. That or a brain injury. These types of people are almost always made and not born.

I saw the title, and thought "Oh good. Hammer movies are making an anthology show. I love Hammer". I wish I had been right, for so many reasons.

His family history is messed up! His aunt Casey Hammer wrote a book " Surviving my birthright" about the sexual abuse she was objected to by her brother, Armie's father.
