I think that we should give advice if the other person is asking us, and even that, knowing that people is free to accept or not.

There are techniques if they resist. Eg
“If you knew what the solution was what would it be?’ (Surprising how many people respond to this one)
‘Take a wild guess ‘
A couple of others ‘solution stimulators recommended that you can find in this area of study
Finally. When one is very sure the person does not have a solution only Then offer input

All of us here have self steem problems.
We lost friends by being stupid and unconscious but one good thing about it is that we realized it. We have a bunch of new people out there to meet and be truthful with. We can now change our ways and try to be more aware of why we say what we say and work on developing confidence and a more empathic and honest dialogue

Sometimes people want to dump their problems on others, THEY feel better when they do this and its' actually
selfish to do so. I find in that case, most people do not want advice, they just want to complain. Yes I have been told
by a psychic not to give unsolicited advice. Sometimes I do so because I want to help people, it may also be because
I want to be the expert, but they surely do not want my advice, It is a lesson, but I am learning. Give advice to myself only.
The only one I can best help is myself, first. thank you.

This is a very important subject, me and my three sisters all have the same flaw of giving unsolicited advice and it just creates a bad dynamic, no one listens or cares about what anyone says or feels most of the time.
