Love it! I hate when Spottedleaf's story gets ignored. The Erins didn't exactly portray it well, but they are notorious for not digging into complexity. Child abuse happens and it shouldn't be swept under the rug. Refusing to talk about things like that and refusing to acknowledge things portraying it is how more child abuse happens and discourages younger victims from speaking out. I always appreciate animations like this that show a bit of the reality of it!

There’s a couple warrior cats books I would rewrite, and Spottedleaf’s heart is one of them. At the start, it was really interesting with Spottedleaf and Thistleclaw. But then, I honestly hated the part that the reason Spottedleaf realized Thistleclaw was bad because he trained in the dark forest. It would’ve been SO much better and have spread a lot more awareness if his grooming of her was what made her realize he’s bad
