Genshin Impact characters have many voice lines and lore. Among them, some are very sad.
So today I present you some of those sad voice lines from Eula, Shenhe, Sucrose, Qiqi and Kujou Sara.

To add more depresso about Sucrose's friends. She doesn't know that one of them (quite possible) died during an travel qn. And she shopes that making a paradise just like on the fairytales would make her reunite with her friends.

Shenhe's father decided to "properly apologize on person" a.k.a hung himself so he could he reunited with his wife and daughter. But didn't know that Shenhe survived.

I think that's part of what makes Genshin's world so beautiful. For every Klee, smiling and playing every day, you've got an Alfred, wondering why that kind of happiness was taken from them.

I kinda relate to sucrose, I had two best friends, but I moved schools and my old phone didn’t work anymore so we couldn’t contact each other anymore
The moment I had a new phone I tried to text them but I realized that they changed numbers/got new phones

Sara’s conflicted feelings are important. In Asian culture, its not so easy to question your father figure, even if he is abusive. It might be hard to seek counseling or admit to yourself that he’s imperfect

I think it’s really interesting that Sara is basically a more serious Arataki Itto. She does try to be calm and collected, but she’s very hot blooded, gets easily angry and is very easy to manipulate or lie to.

Only Itto’s gang actually want nothing but good for him, whereas Sara’s adopted dad just sees her as an attack dog for the Kujou Clan
