Ok so there's some inaccuracies (not even gonna mention "cold" LA lol) - washcloths specifically made for your face are absolutely good for cleansing routines, however you have to wash them by hand after every use and let air dry completely + wash in washing machine 1/2 a week. For a lot of oil cleansers you actually should have warm damp hands in order to help the oil go better into your pores. Also the temperature when rinsing should be the same as your skin, which isn't always "lukewarm", and then finish with a slightly colder rinse to tighten pores and cool down for better absorption of the next products. Also don't just put lotions/moisturisers and serums straight afterwards- you should use a toner or essence to balance the ph of your skin to prep it for next steps. Then it's serums, then eye cream then spot treatment, and then moisturiser to lock everything in

I’ve been doing all of these. I remember Pharrell saying he only uses cold water on his face years ago so I started doing it. Also real raw African black soap and tumeric has worked wonders for my skin.

Cold days like here in LA? LOL! Girl try living in Wisconsin. -19 degrees in the winter ❄️ this past winter was brutal. Cars didn’t even start lol

You put the oil cleanser on your face dry, then add water to emulsify the oil. The emulsification process is what ultimately gets the most makeup residue in the first washing. For more info, watch Susan Yara’s videos on the MixedMakeup channel.
