two years ago, I met by chance upon this video. Inspired by your performance, I fell in love with the cello and the music of B. Marcello. A few days later I bought a cello and started learning to play. After 9 months of self-study, I enrolled in a music college, where I performed exactly this work at the entrance exams, trying to imitate your performance. This lovely performance brings back memories. When I was a beginning cello student at the beginning of the Sixties, this was the very first work entitled "Sonata" that my teacher assigned me; and it made me so proud and excited!

Thank you for recording all these peaces for young players. One and a half years ago at the age of 51 I started taking cello lessons again. It' s amazing for me how much progress you can make even at my age. Your videos are inspiration and motivation. Wonderful to see how these " simple" little peaces are coming alive and begin to shine when they are played in such a musical and perfect way as you are playing them.
