You could also take photos of your room, the view from the window, as you lie in your bed for the last time and that beautiful wallpaper, so that you can always be there for a little bit if you miss it...because you will surely remember it sometimes. :)

Svetlana’s videos and other’s videos have changed my perceptions of Russia. I’ve always thought of Russia in terms of the old Soviet Brezhnev days. Everything is harsh, rudimentary and long lines for everything. The country and the people are a lot more modern and Western in their appearance and style than I thought. I have a much more positive view of Russia.

One can tell surgut is a wealthy city. Everything looks very clean, nice apartment blocks and shopping centers. You'll miss the snow and inexpensive prices, particularly medical/dental.
