Excellent and insightful, positive and realistic. We can, and should, fairly ask: 'Is apocalypse really necessary?' Steve employs philosophy as it should be, to unite and reconcile the facts of science with the insights of spirituality, the emerging, but not inimical, twin elements of modernity. The current global situation is not beyond repair and we can say that the world is not at its end for humanity, IF we embrace acquired wisdom, choose goodness, and don't give up in the face of seemingly insurmountable challenges!
