Graphene Stocks: Where's the revenue growth?

Like your future ex-wife, #graphene stocks fail to live up to the lofty expectations of what you look for in a financial commitment, and they just get more annoying every year as you ogle what other options you could be focusing on instead. It all comes down to revenue growth. #Graphene is a #nanomaterial with incredible promise but that can only be demonstrated with traction in the form of revenue growth. The big four graphene stocks - Directa Plus $DCTA.L $DTPKF Versarien $VRS.L $VRSRF Haydale $HAYD.L $HDGHF and Applied Graphene Materials $AGM.L $APGMF - have a collective value of around 150 million British pounds (about $187 greenbacks) because they haven't been able to show sustained meaningful revenues. Of these, Directa Plus shows the most promise at the moment. Then there are firms like G6 Materials $GGG.V $GPHBF that can't get things together or Graphene Manufacturing Group $GMG.V $GMGMF which thinks that talking about how much they spend on investor relations and paid research reports is a selling point (it isn't) all while the dilute existing investors. Graphene continues to not live up to its hype, so we'll check in several years from now and see if that's changed.

CORRECTION 4/29/2022: G6 Materials has revenues that are slowly increasing over time, not declining. In 2021 they saw less than $2 million in revenues which was a 100% plus increase over the less than $1 million realized in the three years prior. It's been eight years since we looked at this firm and were told by their CEO (now co-CEO of G6 materials) on January 1, 2014, at 5:11 PM that "Graphene Labs has well-equipped R&D facility, expertise in graphene and more than 6000 customers worldwide." If that statement was true, then this firm has indeed accomplished (excuse our French here) eff all in eight years, not to mention the languishing share price and minuscule market cap.

The Graphene Manufacturing Group cheerleaders attacked us on Twitter, and now they're coming around here to do the same. So here's what we're going to do. We're going to publish a video on GMG and talk extensively why this company with next to no assets should be avoided like the plague. It's very clear now that plenty of people are trying to pump this stock to well-intentioned investors so we're going to dig in and take a good look. We'll use this as an example of how to approach teams-with-dreams because that appears to be all this company has - and a Bosch press release with a non legally binding letter. Lads, we've seen this broken record so many times we've lost count. Stay tuned!

I've been hearing a lot of people talk about graphene (the technology, not the stocks). I was ready to jump all in. I looked for stocks and didn't see any to buy which I thought was weird. So now I'm searching on here. I'm glad I did. I had no idea it's been being talked about this long. This is the 6th video I've watched. You explain it great. You deserve more views. I'll be coming back.

I've been definitely interested in the applications of Graphene, but as with all material science breakthroughs it's a rather long and spotty process to make it viable for a company to be built upon. You mentioned liquid metal, currently I know the Playstation 5 videogame console uses it which has only been in the market for the last couple of years. But that material has been around for a couple of decades. Plus, I just saw a new tech video mentioning that Boraphene might even be better than graphene. Very informative video.

I like GMG. 9 one of 10 times (or more) you're absolutely right. Once in a whole you will MOST DEFINATELY be wrong. I like the company profile and their partnerships as well. Balance sheets looks like shit for startups. High risk capital intensive for all stocks like this. It's my high risk tech play. Looked into G6; i also decided to pass. For high risk tech stuff the point (for me) is to get in BEFORE the balance sheet doesn't look like shit. Valid strategy to try and catch it on the turn of course. I'm a science guy and just like GMGs battery tech and proprietary method for high purity graphene production. Could be a while (if at all) before they pick up.

Unfortunately, can't disagree with your findings and appreciate your analysis - that why I subscribe and joined the premium crowd. It has been a disappointing ride in graphene for many years. Still watching NanoXplore in Canada (not profitable but meaningful 70M LTM revenues), their long time association with a 20% stakeholder Martinrea in strengthening auto parts, and their newer joint in VoltaXplore - battery project. Thanks for the expert reviews.

Hey. FYI fellow graphene followers. Start your research on companies in the North America that actually manufacture graphene (not products). There you’ll find your most prospective stock pick.
