My issue with the whole GOAT argument is that it's a team sport so it really should come down to positions only. Guard, Forward and Center. Comparing players across positions is probably worse than across eras.

He's the greatest in more catagories than mostly anyone else. Greatest scorer "soon" more assist than most of your favorite point guards and the greatest athlete we've seen in the past 50yrs so say what you want but that lebron James is something special on the hoop court. Period.

Lebron is probably the most completed all around player(especially in his prime) all time. just because he doesn't necessarily excel in every skill which isn't true either because he is one of the best finishers/playmakers all time and is also good/great in every other category
