Steph has played waaay less than Allen or Reggie. Extrapolate his games played to theirs and he has like an extra 1, 500+ threes made than he does now.

That’s on a higher shooting %, whilst not having a shortened line like Reggie did for 3 seasons, not needing a million screens to get open shots, being able to shoot off the dribble and from 5+ feet further back

In Ray's best 3pt shooting season, he shot 45.3% from 3 on 5.1 attempts per game, and just 7% of his 3s were unassisted. In Steph's best shooting season, he shot 45.4% from 3 on 11.2!!! attempts per game, and over 45%!!! of his 3s were unassisted.

We can’t change the past, we can only reflect on it. When discussing who is better across different eras and decades we have to contrast how well they did in comparison to their competition to get a fair representation of their greatness. Too many factors come into play if you want to compare a player from over 20 years ago to today that muddies the argument.

If Ray Allen shot as many threes as Steph, assuming his percentage doesn't drop even with the higher volume. He'd have somewhere close 4500 threes. I bet Steph still beats that.
