This strap won't last long, it will crack sooner or later. Wl recommend proper cable clip..

Calm down. This hack will work great. Fast, reliable and neat. The blocks are a light weight cinder blocks, easy to drill into and can even be sawn. Cable clips normally come with a nail/pin fastening. They won't work, they can easily come out of this material. So all in all good hack.
