How to fix backlights led in JVC 40in lt-40dg51j Tv

Why is it in videos they just wiggle the case and it comes open when it takes me 30 mins with 5 spudgers and stabbing myself with a screwdriver several times to even start to break the plastic shell open!

Tip:

*DO NOT* forget to replace the stand-offs that support the backlight diffuser/light dispersion sheets (the white things sticking up from middle of the backlight reflector tray)

If you don’t replace these the backlight diffuser/light dispersion sheets will flop and sag in the middle, and you’ll have an unevenly lit panel.

I have an issue with my JVC Lt-39vfq390i: after a few seconds to some minutes I turn it on, the screen dims and it get so dark you can barely see anything. Could it be the same issue as yours? Have you got any idea where to get some 39'' led strips?

the camera blocked the view to what you actually did, did you remove the dead led and replace it with a new one ? if so what led what is ? thank you.

When u used the voltmeter and set it to 27v, is that specific to your tv. Im worried if i dont use the right ammount i will destroy the tv. The model is jvc lt40c860
