A second archaeological excavation began on Thursday at the Terracotta Army burial pits located in northwest China’s city of Xi’an. The excavation is set to unveil more of the world most famous terracotta statues, buried more than 2,000 years ago to guard the mausoleum of China's first Emperor, Qinshihuang.
