What's interesting is that it really feels like this is directly a result of TrU3 playing this build. This build isn't new. Folks have been posting very similar builds using knock out for a couple years now but it's only when TrU3 starts actively using it that it actually seemed to get BHVR's attention.

What irritates me is how BHVR continually makes these and other changes and creates these situations. The limit to gen regression forced players to find a different, more effective, way to play and compete leading to the rise in slugging builds.

Personally I think they went too far with the limit on gen regression. I would have preferred if there was no gen limit regression until survivors have one generator to go. This would ensure the effectiveness of gen-regression perks while also solving what I assume its intended purpose was: preventing a stalemate when there's only one gen left.

BHVR once again creating more problems than making solutions. Never looking into why people slug instead of hook, just removing the killer's power to despite being a power role even more. They should be forced to play killer for at least 30-40 hours a month because it's obvious they don't even play the role for 5 minutes.

These devs are such a holes towards m1 killers. Nerfed knock out because the survivors whined and moaning but not once did the devs ask why knockout was being used by everyone....

Only 7% of people on steam has the achievement of GOLD 1 Killer. That says it all. Killers can't have fun is what they are saying

I knew that if they nerf gen regression further and hook get 70 seconds and ds buff, then killers just slug and now i really don’t know how to play this game to win against high mmr survivors…

This game is just a daycare for survivors. You can tell by the demographics of survivor players what kind of people it attracts, so to speak (Powerless people with bullying fantasies aka weasels/LGBT people)

Killer mains should do one of 2 things

1 - Straight up leave the game, don't play anymore, if almost every killer main did this, it would be noticeable hella fast
2 - If you really reaaaally can't be without DBd, maybe take your time to research survivor pro builds or troll builds and abuse it solo or with your friends. If the problem doesn't seem to be visible enough, make it be.

Also why would the killer surrender if survivors don’t do generators lmao? Surely at that point survivors should all just be given crows or the killer should have killer instinct

Next Update: Survivors cannot be killed by any means before the killer has hooked survivors 8 (eight) times.

"In the game's current state we noticed that some survivors have been a target of 'tunneling', which has been a source of frustration for many players who end up dying very early and are denied their chance to properly enjoy the game. We've added the anti-camp system and base kit endurance but we feel that's just not enough.

This change aims to make each match more fair for each survivor so they will now be able live through most of each trial. This change should also help killers find more variety of chases since they wont be able to kill any survivors before they've achieved the minimum number of hooks. To ensure this change isn't too punishing on killers we also increased the time needed to fully repair a gen by 7 (seven) seconds"
