I talked to Mark and he thinks it’s plum wood, beautiful stuff!

WOW!! That is stunning! I love this bowl! As a side note, I watch videos with Air Pods in so my partner isn't disturbed from the sound. When you added the sealer coat I couldn't stop myself from speaking out "Holy s***, that's beautiful!" She actually rolled her chair over and when she saw the bowl, she hung around and watched the rest of the video over my shoulder. Possible new subscriber!!😁

The profile was an excellent choice. The wood and epoxy in this piece has a lot of character. The profile allows all the character to shine through. Stunningly elegant. Designer Epoxy

*sigh* It's so beautiful... I could look at those ocean valleys and mountains all day. Looking forward to another Burnt piece. Have a great week.

Love this. It totally looks like the tide coming in onto shore with the beginnings of tidal pools forming. The burn outlining the blue is especially good ❤
I’ll bet this wood is from a prune plum tree?
Either way it’s gorgeous!
Well done as per ❤😊

I LOVE the black out line. It brings a depth to the project I didn't expect. Your creations will only get better and better as you go. There are no words. I Love This. 😊❤

A stunning piece. The black outline is a piece of inspiration, when it is contrasted by that beautiful Ocean Blue epoxy. Love the simple lines, it displays the piece's beauty without distracting the eye from the colours.

Hi Jim, its a beautiful bowl. The wood is smashing the different shades. The waves in the resin and colour. Absolutely stunning. Have a great weekend. Happy St.Patrick's Day.

Dear Jim,
This is a beautiful color combination...the blue and the black. Your are the man with a fine knowledge for this kind of stuff. It's almost a piece of Zen.
Have a nice weekend with your family and keep on doing this pieces.
Greetings from Gert from the Netherlands Utrecht.

Good morning Jim! You asked for an opinion on the side profile, I like it. It's utilitarian and adds character that makes it unique compared to other bowls. Good job!

What a gorgeous bowl. When you were burning the wood I didn’t understand the look you were going for in the end, but damn it took this bowl to another level!! The way the burnt wood outlines the blue epoxy does make the blue look like the ocean in your photo. It’s good that you didn’t add any shimmer to the blue. I don’t think you would have gotten the look you wanted.

They say left handed people are creative and artistic and you sir are absolutely both and more!!

Have a great weekend and I’ll see you next Friday at 6am 🕕 my time!!
