So many unbelievably talented and hard working men that don’t get to hoist Lord Stanley’s Cup…

losing sucks. i dont think people realize how bad it hurts. to work as hard as these teams did and fall short when you're that close is so painful.

It's so hard to watch them hold back tears.

That 2020 one is just so brutal to watch. On top of the pain of losing, realizing the Stars had to go through the bubble, living in isolation, the constant testing and being away from family and loved ones for over two months, only to walk away with nothing. I can't even imagine what's going through their heads here.

on one hand, they should be proud to be playing in NHL, on the other hand, these guys spent over 20-30 years to get to that very game that could have delivered that shiny big ass trophy. ether way, someone has to lose lol! have a good day!

this teaches you one thing. In life, you can work so hard. Get so far. But, sometimes, you just won't get the ultimate prize. Instead of being sad, you just need to come to terms with it and cherish all the other accomplishments you made. You should also be happy for those who made it further than you. Be the best you can be, that's all you need to do. The rest just comes as it will.

Boston blowing it again St. Louis in 2019 is still my absolute favorite. St. Louis did exactly to them what Boston did to Vancouver in 2011. Love it.

That dude who had his head buried in his hands in 2019 was so sad and depressing. Same goes for Tatar at the start of the video in 2018

I wonder if these images or others like Freddie Patek in the Royals dugout in the 70s are more relatable to the average ex-athlete because we've all faced that moment way more than winning. Obviously not at that level, but losing hurts no matter when.

2022 was so horrible for my Tampa Bay team, it’s always so sad losing the Cup Final cause that ends the playoffs, but at least they made it

As a oilers fan seeing 2021 being a hard time to be a Canadians fan for all the teams

Many people trash me for being a knights fan, they think I would leave the team if they get bad. But trust me that 2023 Stanley cup playoffs run gave me more excitement then I ever had, at the beginning I felt like it was their year. I was right of course but it’s insane how many fans and players never get to witness being awarded lord Stanley. When it happens though it is one of the best feeling.

Tuukka Rask not getting it as a starter hurts the most

2020 was so infuriating because Dallas was so injured after everything was over. We never really even had a chance, especially with Andrei Vasilevskiy playing arguably some of the best hockey any goalie has ever played…
