I live in westmorland county pa right on one of the state parks and I’ve heard them too. Several times. It’s a very distinct sound. The first time I heard them was right around Halloween this past year as well. I have 100, 000 acres right behind my house. I won’t go outside at night either. It’s scary. I won’t even leave my downstairs windows open at night. Spooks the dogs as well.

I live along side US Route 6 in Galeton, Potter County, PA and there is a mountain to the north of me and another to the south which leads into both Cherry Springs and Lyman Run State Park's. I have heard that same owl sounds that you played in the clip on the mountain to my south just about every night that doesn't sound right from spring to fall, have heard it for the past 7 years now.

Myself and two friends were fishing for trout in eastern Pennsylvania back 19 years ago. At 3 AM we heard what sounded like a woman screaming then the Indian noise. We had rocks thrown at us and trees shaking. We packed up and left then at work the day after we were wondering what it was. We thought it was a peacocks that got loose, kids messing with us we didn't know. If it was kids they had a help of a set of lungs. This freaked me out for years then my daughter and I watched a bigfoot show a few year's later and they had sound recordings. I heard the scream and my daughter said I turned white. We also heard what you guy's described as Indians. I'm starting to be a believer of these creatures, Thank you for the great video.

When we were kids we had werd stuff happen hear in mass now that im older i think back and know i envounterd them even saw one it looked like monster on side of a trail i was walking in dark scared to look and told myself it was a tree trunk and next day that tree wasent their.
