Welcome back to Great SpaceX! It's been a long time since we've done a highlight on exciting news and developments taking place at Starbase. So we've got a lot of topics in today's episode.
First, we've got the latest updates on GSE-4’s test. Along with that, there are amazing pieces of information regarding the complete installation ‘aerocovers’ on Booster 4 (B4). And … there's more, but we’ll get to those burning topics later, don’t worry!
Without any further delays, let’s get started on today’s episode!

Let’s start at the beginning with the GSE-4 test!
Recently, SpaceX has just conducted a test on GSE test tank 4.1 at the orbital launch site.
Everything was looking good until 3:34 pm when the test tank failed to take all the pressure.
However, according to many sources, it was a Pressure Test to Failure.
If true, it can be said that the GSE test tank failed successfully.
But what if it's not?
In that case, the test tank that just failed could be a sign of major problems with the Starship orbital launch pad tank farm.
And maybe this test was a push to help certify them?
However, the LOX & LN2 tanks are fine as they have been operational & holding liquid for a long time.
Thus, I am more inclined towards the former!!!
And if there is anything wrong with the whole stage-zero, I strongly believe that Musk and his team will act accordingly.
Just hope that Elon can talk about the pressure reached during this test.
Huge thanks to LabPadre for capturing these amazing videos!
Next, let's come with a piece of good news!!!
We spotted more progress made on the cargo door pathfinder by the low bay. More of the door has been cut, revealing the updated design for the cargo door.
Obviously, they distract us from the new Cargo door by closing the road and doing a test of GSE-4!!!
That is typical Starbase style! LOL!!!!
Anyway, we got a cargo door now.
So, let's cheer!!!

To be resolved, thank you.

That guy at 2:24, carefully fixing the cover;). Proper engineering work.

I think the US Government needs to investigate all the FAA employees to make sure they have the best interests of the US as a very important objective. Aerospace is a very important area of international espionage and anything other countries can do to delay the US would be beneficial to them.

People underestimate the value of knowing the limit of your engineering, you know exactly how under or over engineered your product is.

pulling apart a festo valve recently, the milled housing looks like 4:52, is that a huge valve.

Oof, that booster's got a face only a mother could love. Those aero covers make Starhopper look like a beauty queen by comparison.

What synchronicity for me to see a side by side on a SpaceX video
Past week been obsessed with quads and SxS, to the point i even started to see them on space videos xD

The test was to destruction, a common procedure to exposure weakness location. This was a tear, not an expĺosion.

Always exciting regardless of success or failaure. If you not failing you not succeeding. Cant wait for the Starship launch.

Testing stuff by breaking it is truly the only way to really know what you're doing ❤️ when I'm working at a power plant we are constantly fixing and repairing things that have broken by not making them the same way but making them better.

6:47 this is a CubeSat module produced by the Bulgarian EnduroSat company based in Sofia. You can check them, very young and extremely smart professionals

Worked in R&D for years, which is how Elon conducts much of his engineering processes. Testing to Failure IS part of that process. He's already been thru this with early Starship Tanks/Fuselage components. SO, . . . either he's testing new metallurgy and/or welding processes to higher pressures or this was an early failure. I think the former as SpaceX had announced they were experimenting with their own Stainless "blends".

Awesome! A video about the tank I was specifically asking about earlier. Thank you great SpaceX

hold on this was a test to destruction ??? with venting stopped to see how much pressure the tank could stand ????

The backhanded dig at the Grand Potatus at the was great.

At the 54 sec mark on the video you hear a bang (like a gunshot) before the tank explodes.
At the camera distance to the storage tank you would see the tank rupture before hearing the bang sound.
The tank rupture looks very suspicious.

Either way im sure valuable info was learned. But im not sure if this was intentional. The only reason i say that is all the equiptment that was sitting close by took a beating. 😀it was fun to watch. I love it when things blow up. 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

I looked at the thumbnail real quick and immediately thought one of the farm tanks burst, and I was in panic
