Eat Like Andy Warhol

From Coca-Cola, Cornflakes, and Campbell's Tomato Soup, to a single mushroom, a banana, and a giant piece of meat, we step our way through the industrially-produced foods that Andy Warhol both ate and also venerated in his art. Let's eat like Andy.

Thanks to our Grandmaster of the Arts Vincent Apa, and all of our patrons, especially Yakira Dixon, Patrick Hanna, Nichole Hicks, Iain, Eve Leonard, David Moore, Jane Quale, and Constance Urist.

This was maybe the most unusual way I've learned a bunch of things about an artist. Peculiar, but I liked it!

Can we take a moment to appreciate that she dressed according to the topic?

What I like about Warhol is that he didn’t put water in his cornflakes

Andy Warhol: I like soup ima paint it

My art teacher: this painting is an expression of American oppression of the African American race in the prohibition era

The more I think about it, the more I realize that Andy was Instagram. Better yet, Instagram took who/what Andy was and turned him into a social media platform

I watched this video while eating Top Ramen noodles straight from the package like pieces of popcorn. It seems like it's something Andy would approve

I feel the same way about Coca-Cola as I do about Warhol. A treat if taken infrequently and imported from Mexico, but stomach turning in American quantity.

Thank you for doing this! I'm 70 yrs old, was a teen during the time of the Factory, never understanding Andy and his art. Thanks to you, I now do. I see he was a truly genius artist and very giving man. I feel quite badly that he died at a relatively young age. Again, thanks for giving me an appreciation for this gifted person, his art, and his time.

I was just thinking I miss art cooking and here we are!
I really like Warhol and his work now, but if I had been alive at the time and seen him charging $650 for a can of soup I’d probably hate his guts

Dont abuse your blender. Use the tamper, also setting "1" is great for chopping ice so you can just chill there for a minute. when you hear an obvious rhythm change, the cubes are chopped. Proceed to setting "2"... continue these steps until ingredients are smooth, and you wont end up with shards of blade in your food. Good day

Thanks for a walk down memory lane. I feel privileged to have observed Warhol's life and work, as it happened; through media... galleries...and museums. ❤️❤️❤️

I LOVE the food videos. Sarah in the kitchen making this art/food is humorous and educational at the same time.

Honestly as someone who adores great food, this helps me understand my boyfriend and his love for processed highly commercial food a bit more. Thank you!
