Fix Fingerprint Sensor Isn't Responding On Android

Let's fix your fingerprint sensor if it's not working on your Android device.

Lots of Android phones from Samsung to Motorola have fingerprint sensors that allow you to unlock your device. If you find your fingerprint sensor isn't working I walk you through some steps here to get it working again, including restarting your phone, cleaning off the sensor, and resetting the settings, and adding a new fingerprint in the Android settings. This process works for both Android phones and tablets.

Too bad removing the finger print isn't an option. If the finger print sensor isn't working, it locks you out of the ability to change your finger print.

Restarting my phone worked temporarly

I restarted my phone yesterday but it didn't work
So when l saw your video today l updated my system like you said but it only recognized my fingerprint once
So l removed the previous fingerprints and restarted my phone and it worked

If you can't open the fingerprint settings because "The sensor isn't working", just reboot to recovery mode and wipe the cache partition, then restart. It should do the trick.
