Passover 2020: with Jon Bunn & Remnant Radio

Due to the coronavirus, this will be the first year in the last three years my family and I have not practiced the Passover in a church gathering. So I invited my friend Jon Bunn from the Hub DFW to came to the studio last week so we could capture Passover for those who do not want to miss out on remembering what God has done for his people.

SEDER CELEBRATION ITEMS
For the Seder Plate: A Lamb Shank, Parsely, Horseradish, Roasted Egg, *Charoset, three pieces of Matza, a *white napkin, and Salt Water.

You will also need two candles for the beginning of the meal on the table and a pitcher of water and a basin with a towel for the hand washing ceremony. Each guest will also need 4 cups of grape juice or wine.

*Charoset is a mixture of apples, nuts, honey, raisins, and wine and represents and is the consistency of mortar.

*The white napkin is used to wrap and hide what is called the "afikomen." Later in the meal, the children search for it and return it the head of the table for a prize or treat of some kind (If you have children present, please also include something to reward them for finding the "afikomen").

THE MEAL OF YOUR CHOICE
Feel free to make your family the dinner of your choice. Typically, chicken and nothing with yeast in it is servered about 2/3 of the way through the Seder presentation.

Thank you for posting this! I called my mom (in NYC) via FaceTime, and we synced the video to watch at the same time LOL! I prepped what I could gather at home and substitute as best as I could. We learned so much through this walk through, reading the Scriptures and prayer. This was truly a blessing. Looking forward to celebrating Passover next year with my family as a way to worship our Lord Jesus. ❤️

But I understand this isn’t a true Passover meal. I’ve learned it has pagan heritage. Is this true. It’s only to be wine, unleavened bread and lamb. ???
