I wanna like the nightster so much, but Rebel 1100 comes in cheaper with all the tech standard.

It's reasonably quick but it's built with all cheap plastics, they cheaped out on the style and finish, it sounds objectively terrible, and it's very overpriced.

It's not what cruiser guys want, and the people that want a bike like that can get it cheaper from other brands.

At least the old Sporties were unique, had cool paint, they were built with good materials, sounded awesome, and had a great feel to them, even if they were antiquated. Not everyone is trying to win races. These things are just generic, and generic's fine, but not at a "premium" price.

That all being said, nobody cares about sparing the feelings of the M8 Low Rider guys. They can be butthurt, but the Nightster is faster, it's comparable in power/weight ratio to the old V-Rod which was also faster. If you're buying a LRS to win races (or show off the size of your manhood, ) you're doing it wrong.
