If you wanna play it in standard tune you can play for the riff A# (6th fret sixsth string) and D (5th fret fifth string). It wont sound perfect but definetely will sound similar

Not sure if still checking comments. What I get confused about is how does one add the distortioon?.. I am assuming you are not using a pedal and are recording into your computer here. Is it like edited after in the recording on what section require specific effects against what you are playing?
