Destroyed mind was the last act, that means while out of the mind he's talking with knuckles, tails and robotnik, while in his mind fighting sonic.

my theory is that the act is called "destroyed mind" which means you are in your mind where he is also, so you are fighting his spirit form

It is just one Sonic.EXE. The battle, as the name points it, is inside Sonic's mind. However, i can't understand why it's destroyed if Sonic is fighting that demon, right?

Mairusu, just to remind you, on the part you need to fight sonic.exe, you need to hit him if you want to best ending.I won't spoil what happen if you don't hit him 15 times but it gives you a good ending, well not for sonic.
