It still amazes me how much of an active and loyal player base Skyrim has. I've played the game since it came out on the 360/PS3, and my recent discovery of the vast PC modding space for the game has put the community into a completely new perspective for me.

This is a dramatic thing I know but this video with that music with the unmodded graphics made me choke up from nostalgia. I nearly teared up I had to pause halfway through. I have something like 4000 hours in Skyrim adding up my time playing my original 360 copy, my Steam copy, my special edition copy on Xbox One, and my special edition copy on Steam. This helped remind me what made Skyrim a special part of my childhood.

I remember first getting this game. My friends and I all had our Xbox in the same room and all playing skyrim together. A fresh breath of air from the normal halo 2 and halo 3 system link parties. It was your own journey...your own story and playstyle and most importantly YOUR decisions on where you wanna go and who your character is from combat to even your relationship with NPCs, this was my first elder scrolls game and it definitely won't be my last
