The sensational cast, starring Katerina McCrimmon as Fanny Brice, Stephen Mark Lukas, Grammy Award-winner Melissa Manchester and Izaiah Montaque Harris, dazzles with the songs “Don’t Rain On My Parade,” “I’m the Greatest Star,” and “People.” This bittersweet comedy is the story of the indomitable Fanny Brice, a girl from the Lower East Side who dreamed of a life on the stage. Everyone told her she’d never be a star, but then something funny happened—she became one of the most beloved performers in history, shining brighter than the brightest lights of Broadway.

My 13 y.o. daughter and I were BLOWN AWAY at today’s matinee. Skylar wasn’t familiar with the original movie or soundtrack…we played it on the way to the Ahmanson and of course she was awed. On the way home, she told me Katarina’s “Fanny” was just as amazing. To hold your own with Barbra - while at the same time, craft an entirely new interpretation and performance that is just as beautiful - how many people on the planet can do that?! All the chills, Katarina! Brava!!! ❤️
