"Gap" would mean that their is also rising group with growing high incomevand assets.
Which is not.
Those who earn more do have to pay a high amount of taxes to finance the elections promisses of the left wing parties.
The gap between an uneducated simple worker, an unenployed and a high skilled employee are actually not such big. Thanks to the unreasonable high taxation.

We have s big number of lazy, uneducated peoples who can't handle their incomes.
But in the same way we have a huge number of vacancies of skilled positions but we can't find educated employees.

Because in the socialism of germany it doesn't pay off to work hard and to study, because the social wellfare cares for your life.
So no need to work.

That's what brought us socialsm...poverty.
