I just convinced my wife to invest after she saw the index fund investments I started on Fidelity did well even during a pandemic. I just deployed a dollar cost averaging philosophy to take a emotions out of the way. The investments did very well. Over 12%+ average. Sometimes you have to “show her the money” to believe. 🤣 Now she doesn’t make fun of me about watching the Money Guy Show or listening or reading about financial stuff. She became thankful. 😜

On a real note though this is actually difficult. Because trying to date and find someone to be with is tough. I dated this one girl for 9 months and things were pretty serious but her mentality was that she like to spend money and live lavish even though in my opinion she hadn't earned it yet. One time she said this exact quote to me, "I won't live anywhere that doesn't have a Whole Foods". And I was like well that only gives us the option of Seattle and Bellevue which are $800, 000 median home prices. Unfortunately that relationship didn't last so.. I'm Still Holding Out for that Financial mutant female out there that must exist somewhere

I had to drag my ex wife into investing with her employer's retirement plan. Best decision ever since we ended up getting divorced and she created assets over time also.
