I have this Cafe maker, but with the glass carafe… absolutely hate it. It makes good coffee, but it has a list of undesirable design flaws. It’s very expensive and hard to live with

I keep tasting burnt coffee, changed coffee grounds and it’s @ 197* . Not sure what I’m doing wrong… any comments?

I paid a big price for this coffee maker and it stopped brewing in less than two years. Not repairable and GE was no help.

Just got ours in the mail. Didn't realize the water reservoir doesn't detach for cleaning. More importantly for filling. Aren't the majority of coffee makers kept under a cabinet on the counter? What a stupid design. 100%sending it back.

What can you do with WIFI on a coffee Maker exactly? Can you login and tell it to brew? NO so what's the advantage? Also this coffee maker does not even heat where you put the carafe so its a waste after a few minutes coffee has to go in the microwave.
If you like your coffee weaker than most you have to estimate the amount of water instead of just putting in as much water as you want and coffee and pushing a button to brew it all. Too many cons for the $250 or higher cost. On the plus, I will say it gets the water hot to begin with and looks better than any coffee maker out there but as far as taste it is no better than a $50 coffee maker. Which will keep the coffee hot because it will stay heated on the pad.
