S2000 Top Speed Attempt

Temperatures have finally dropped since its change of seasons. Car felt better. Only modifications done this time were fluids. Went down to 0W-40 and topped off coolant since my radiator of blown thanks to expansion/contraction in each heat cycle. Plastic radiator getting replaced soon too full aluminum.

Maxed out at 144mph.

7:30 AM / 10% rain / 27% humidity / N 9mph wind (was traveling south) / 61 degrees Fahrenheit / 30.05 inHg atmospheric pressure.

Didn’t experience any rain nor damp road. Less air resistance and turbulence due to almost no traffic coming against. Car felt far more stable.

Wish I would’ve been able to do my run at 6 since air gets at its densest before the Sun starts warming it up again. Maybe would’ve pulled at least one more mph
