I'm disappointed by their coverage of the 'dogs age 7 years in one year' myth. I don't care if you set the number at 4, 7, or any number - the whole idea is wrong. Simply multiplying your dog's age by a certain number will *not* tell you the equivalent in human years. For example, a female puppy has her first heat around 6 months, while a human girl has her first period around 12 years. So, a year = 24 years? No. Humans on average live to 70-something, while large dogs live to 10-15 and small dogs 15-20. (If you multiply 10 by 24, the dog should be the equivalent of a 240 year old human, when really they're more like a 40 year old for a small breed or a 70 year old for a large breed.)
