I remember listening to this song while driving out to the East Coast of Canada to live by the ocean. I needed to get away from my city life and urban bubble. I now wake up to the ocean and I smile whenever I hear this song.

When I listen to this song, I imagine myself in the backseat of a car with Mum and Dad as we drive on an empty road surrounded by nature in all her glory. It continues for miles and miles, as far as the eye can see. To my left and right there are emerald green forests and tall trees overhanging the asphalt. Overhead, whiskers of sunlight fight their way through the thick branching foliage. I hang my hand out the window and do the worm in tune to this song all while the cool wind is brushing against my face and hair. Continuing and enduring we finally drive out into the open and into the sunset as it gleams and dances in the rose red sky. Like the sands through an hourglass, these were the days of our lives.

~ I hope someone else reads this and can appreciate the beauty that is all around us. It's in the people we see, it's in the music that we hear, and it's in the relationships we make along the way. Enjoy it 'cause you never know when it's going to end ~

Started my day off right w/this song in the background with a fresh warm cup of coffee with the cold morning wind and sun glaring on me with my dog beside me on my lawn at my house up in the mountains. No better feeling.

This song makes me think of three things off the top of my head
1. That moment at the end of an episode where everyone involved in the episode is gathered at the city limits to thank the protagonist and his crew before they go on their way.

2. That one mid-game area after the really fucked up shit happens that's really chill and perpetually twilight to help take some of the edge off of everything you just did and let you catch your breath, oftentimes acting as either a hub world or as a junction point to multiple parts of the world map.

3. 7:00 P.M. winding down vibe you get at the end of a long day. Where you're sitting in the car on your way home and you turn around that corner and everything is bathed in orange and red and you just....let out a sigh of relief because you can just feel the world around you slowing down for the night.

-I'll probably get flak for writing all that when I should have been enjoying the music.-

This song, this exact video in fact, was my first introduction to Tom's music. I was in college then, barely 18 years old and I was about to head to University far away from home. Every step of my life from that point on I've listened to his music. Every new track he released, every EP, album, feature, I've had his music on my playlist. My family love his music, my wife loves his music, and all my mates love his music too. Tom's music has carried me through every important moment of my life, and for me, it all started with this one video. I'm so glad I can come back to it 10 years later and fondly remember key moments of my life that his music got me through. Guess you could call it The Journey!

I went to Crete last year and one morning we sat on the rocky pier, feet dangling over the water, and watched the sun rise whilst playing this. Most peaceful, beautiful memory ever.
