LEGO Star Wars 10123 CLOUD CITY Review!

MandRproductions proudly presents his review of one of the rarest LEGO Star Wars sets ever released! 2003's LEGO Star Wars Cloud City playset is beloved by many LEGO Star Wars fans, myself included. Originally it was $100 in stores however if you want a used one today you'll likely be paying $600-$800 and brand new will often run you well over $1,000!

10123 Cloud City includes 698 pieces and 7 Minifigures, a Stormtrooper, Darth Vader, Cloud City Boba Fett, Cloud City Luke Skywalker, Cloud City Princess Leia, Han Solo, and Lando Calrissian! Youll also find the LEGO Han Solo in Carbonite brick! The set highlights 4 sections of Cloud City! the dining room, carbonite chamber room, duel room, and landing pad are all present!

In 2003 you could combine this set with the 7190 Millennium Falcon, 7119 Bespin Cloud Car, and 7144 Slave 1 to complete the Cloud City scene! Enjoy the review!

This was an online Lego store exclusive and sold out almost immediately. I remember 200 dollar price tag, and the fury on the old forums over the set. You couldn't buy this set in retail stores and that pissed a lot of people off. For years it was the only way to get Luke Leia and Lando in their Bespin uniforms. The Boba Fett mini figure was also the only one (at the time) to have that intricate screen printed detail. While the set itself has aged very poorly (why was the carbonite chamber at the end and not the middle?) it is still a highly coveted collectible because of just how limited it was, and the mini figures themselves which Lego said were never going to be re-released leading to more anger from the fandom. It would be almost 20 years when we would get a more superior (if not still flawed) redo.

Amazing set! Also i love the Boba Fett figure. For some reason, i really like these old Star Wars sets, their design, playabiliy and minifigures! I think the sand color scheme, their simplicity, nostalgia and retrofuturism give both the sets and the minifigures a really nice aesthetic! I wish i had more of them...

$528 in 2018?? Boba Fett alone was worth about $350 back in 2017-2018. You got this for an absolute steal then. I think this entire set was worth about $700-$800 during that time.

This is my opinion but I loved when lego released small Star Wars sets. They were cheap and you could get the main characters. For example lightsaber duel from 1999, you got the main Sith and Jedi! Just lovely!
