This is mostly how I use to cast a circle. Didnt use markers but salt/water and incense but then found a way of calling quarters after and I had started doing that. However it seems quite elaborate. To me it seems strange for the casting to take as long or longer than a simple ritual so its nice to see a simple way is ok also.

Is there a way to cast a "moving" circle? For example when exploring a haunted house? Or perhaps there is a better method of protection when contacting spirits when asked to check out a haunted location where you will be moving around?

Hi Ginny, great videos, thank you for posting! I am new to witchcraft and am wondering, if I am doing a spell on a work surface, should I cast a circle just on the working surface or do I need to cast a circle all around myself as well? Many thanks

Like your method! I have a question. Is using a lit incense stick as the "wand" acceptable to cast a circle? It's what I have been doing as I do not have a traditional wand and don't think I am going to use one. But this is the first time I saw anyone use a crystal. I am new and new to your channel and looking forward to watching your library of videos!

Hi Ginny! I’ve been watching your videos for a couple of weeks so I’m pretty new to your channel. I’m learning witchcraft and I have always had an affinity with crystals. Can you use multiple types of crystals when casting a circle or do you have to stay with one type?
