As a Gundam newbie, I really enjoyed building the MG Gundam Wing Ver.Ka and MG Barbatos!

I highly recommend the MG Ball. To me, it's one of the best MGs due to its simplicity and high level of detail. It also is a great beginner MG.

MG Jegan, simple construction with great parts-separation, and the MG GM Sniper Custom (if you can find it) looks amazing, is solid, and comes with many great accessories. 😁

definite must build is the Freedom 2.0, great detail, articulation, gimmicks and value for money, only thing to look out for are the hip joints

Proud of myself for having built nearly all of these kits. Turn A and Turn X are some of the best builds. If you ever see either I definitely agree that you need to snag it and build it.

GM Sniper 2 . You get a great kit and it's not to complicated.

I actually just built the MG Astray Red frame Kai not two weeks ago, and was blown away. Not only was it my first MG, but the level of detail on the inner frame, and armor you can get to show through is mind blowing. Super solid build aside from it's little side skirts at the waist (every Astray I've dealt with has that issue). Phenomenally fun build, and has me looking to get many more MG kits.

Sword Impulse gundam. With the sword staff with effect parts on is one hell of shelf piece.

I finished the RX-78-2 Gundam kit this morning. I had started last night but decided to wait and finish it tonight but I couldn’t sleep from thinking about it 😂😂. I’m hooked

I'm currently building the f-91 2.0, with delpi decals and I got to say that kit is just beautifully awesome, having a blast building it.

I picked up a Sinanju Stein Ver Ka yesterday from a local guy’s backlog for $60. Had to show my wife your video lol.

I've built hundreds of gundam kits, and the Sazabi Ver. Ka is truly the best one I've put together. The detail is astounding, the build is fantastic and enjoyable throughout. Only downside is it is "questionable" on an action base, but I've had one posed nicely in a "flying" combat pose for over 4 years and it has yet to crush the action base (even though it wobbles back and forth whenever I walk past it, lol)

The comment about the Barbatos being heavily slanted towards the frame build makes sense with how much IBO leaned into Gundam Frames instead of just the Gundam

Master grade Providence. 100% my favorite master grade of all time. The decals are perfect, the effect part for the shield/sword is amazing, and the kit is incredibly solid for such a bulky design.

I loved the Master Grade Turn A as a really unique construction. The Zaku II 2.0 has probably my favorite inner frame, and is a kit that has tons of room for customization while also looking great just snap built together.

Excellent list. I think the only thing that I would add is if you get ANY Ver Ka kit, it should be the ZZ Ver Ka. The transformation is incredible, so solid in all modes, and there's detail on every square centimeter of the suit. Gorgeous and sharp and perfect from every angle.

The MG burning/god gundam from G Gundam was a lot of fun to build. It also was the first in my experience to involve using actual screws to the joints. It was fun to build because of that.

Mg infinite justice and ver ka Nu were some of the best kits that were so much fun to build.

I would also recommend the MG Alex 2.0. It is a very solid build (probably also based on the grand daddy frame) and it comes with a boat load of accessories. I love that you get the whole armor, which comes with its own innerframe. So you can apply the armor in multiple stages
