For some reason this one feels like the most appropriate send-off.

"We were friends you know."
Yes they were.

Stan Lee as a complex guy, and I love that this tribute offers a picture of that. The studio adored him, but he was far from a saint, especially in his early Spider-Man years. I love the whole dynamic of the scene: he's both a great inspiration and a shameless salesman in the same moment, and neither one diminishes the other: he's really saying, "we all have a hero inside us, " and he's also saying, "give me your money and buy my product." It's the truest picture of a guy whose genius as a creator, which everyone loved, was matched by his genius as a marketer and promoter, which was not so universally admired.

Stan: Im going to miss him
Me: Im going to miss you too.
This scene had me in tears.

As poignant as the scene is, I do love that it is also peak "Stan the Salesman" energy.

This is my favorite Stan Lee cameo in all the movies and even though it's played as a joke that "It always fits" line hits so hard when you consider the themes of every Spiderman story, that anyone can be Spiderman. Just hearing his voice say those words hits me with a wave of so many different powerful emotions. That single line describes all the amazing themes that Stan Lee has put in his stories, even the non-spiderman ones. Rest in Peace Stan Lee, you were our hero.

This scene made me cry.
"I'm going to miss him.."
I think the Stan Lee's lines in this movie especially struck a cord with me. It was a scene to morn the death of Spider-Man... But it feels like a line to morn Stan Lee..
"It always fits. Eventually.."
Here's to the spiritual successors of Stan Lee!!

Knowing that Stan Lee is gone this song makes think about him.

I cried in this part, Spiderman has been always my favourite super hero, because he was real example to me always trying to be a force of good. Im trying too, I know I can't be Spiderman, but I can be good enough till the suit fits me. Thanks for everything Stan.

This was the perfect choice for a cameo. Him to reference the old Spider Man movies and for him to meet the next Spider.

Yeah, I'm gonna miss Grandpa Stan Lee on every Marvel Movies.

This scene is the best example of “anyone can be a hero” or “anyone can be great”
Stan Lee saying “it always fits- eventually” is basically Stan Lee saying that “if you want to do something, go out and do it just to prove to yourself you can”

I remember the entire theatre gasping and applauding at this part. Only time i’ve ever heard an applause in a theatre. Thank you, Stan.

I openly and shamelessly wept in the theatre when I got to this scene. Stan had only passed about a week before I saw it, and it hit me hard. My wife was crying too.

Stan Lee: "it always fits, eventually."
Me: "that must a message."
*the sign shows up* "No returns or refunds."
Me: "so it wasn't a message."
