How to make chainmail | Beginner Tutorial | European 4-in-1 weave

In this video I show the tools and steps to get started making your first chainmail project.
Tools required:
- 2 pairs of pliers
- rings of your preferred amount, material, and color

I make note of this in the video but I want to restate that there are MANY different way to approach making chainmail! This is simply the process of how I do mine and if my tutorial is not effective for you to learn, I encourage you to seek out other tutorials to find one that works for you :)

So middle faces us, edges face away. Right side you go top to bottom and left side bottom to top.... That makes more sense than the last video I watched. Thank you. I was giving myself a headache trying this before.

to save money with some tools i had laying around i used 16awg galvenized fence wire and a drill to make my own rings before attempting this. it works but the tool i used to cut makes the ends taper inside the rings. also took probably 3-4x as long fighting any inconsistencies in size or shape.

Love this tutorial! Will be very helpful once I start creating. What cut of rings do you use? Machine or saw? I'm wanting to make something that would go over more delicate fabric so worried about snags. Appreciate any feedback!
