I was 16. I got diognosed with cancer for the 2nd time in July 2020, she was 15, she got sent away to a Childrens home. All we had was each other. When we would go days without talking we would write hundreds of letters. And I mean hundred. It was finally January 2021, we got to see each other when I was able to go back to school after chemo. We were perfect, we had our own fairytale. We lasted two years. I fucked up so bad. I miss her with all my heart. I miss having the other half, my girl esmeriah. I’m now 19, I haven’t deleted nothing. I sit here and read her letters. Our messages. Everything we shared together. I never took down your picture. In another life we’ll meet each other again.
