IMO anyone knocking this thing hasn’t found themselves in potentially violent situations that could go either way, where a gun would cost you everything. This is super practical, glad I got one.

That said, just because it’s not real doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be training with it.

Got for my wife...checked her out on it last night. We’re generally impressed with its accuracy and hitting power...just used the baby powder training balls, but you could tell the velocity was high. Also makes a good trainer for a handgun.

I’m going to be ordering one for my ex to keep in her apartment, she lives in a bigger city with our son and the odd time there is encounters with sketchy individuals. Here in Canada though it only comes with the rubber balls, pepper balls are prohibited. I don’t doubt the impact force of this model, the umarex walther ppq .43 caliber hits with enough force to hurt let alone multiple shots at rapid succession and if I remember right this has a higher fps. I may even let her take a shot on me to see first hand how much it hurts lol
